More Hiking!

Chosei, Scott, Aaron
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" Matt 6:28-30

The opportunities to hike around here are many and I hope to explore them all before I leave. This was another wonderful day out in the beauty of God's creation!
Chosei's bed of ferns.
Enjoying life!
Scott demonstrating the survivial skill of how to eat an ant. Yuck!
Chosei forging the raging river. Note: He is only wearing one shoe. What skill!

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23

Home! What a wonderful word. And what a way to bless someone by allowing the Lord to be a part of your home. Or to give you a new one. That is what the Lord is doing for me. Everything here in Baltimore has been getting better and better. So much so that I was no longer trying to change things around me in order to be happy. I was even being patient and not looking for a new place to live, knowing that in the Lord's timing something would come up. And it did. Much faster than I could have ever expected and so perfectly that it could only have been of the Lord's doing.

So, as of the first of August, I will officially move in with one of my closest friends from church here in Baltimore...Ming An. She is an amazing Christian, biostatistics grad student at Johns Hopkins school of public health, and an excellent cook! Oh yeah, and she is a fantastic softball player as well! (I will write more on our church softball league later.)

From here on out, we plan to have an open door policy. Come over whenever you want, stay as long as you can, and come back soon. We have invited the Lord to live with us as well, so come expecting to spend time with Him as you fellowship with us.

Party at Ming and Rachel's tonight! And every night!
